Monday Morning Photo - Plaza Mayor, Salamanca

One of the most beautiful squares in Spain the Plaza Mayor, a baroque style plaza, on the north side is the City Hall building. Decorated with stonework medallions between each arch, including depictions of  Carlos I, Alfonso XI, Fernando VI, Cervantes and Santa Teresa. Monday Morning Photo - Fuente del Rey, Priego de Cordoba

The absolutely huge and beautiful Baroque Kings´ Fountain or Fuente del Rey in the equally lovely town of Priego de Cordoba.  It has been remodelled various times, the last time dates from 1803, made in marble with 139 water spouts and various sculptures it has been declared a National Monument - definitely one to see.
