Lopera Castle, one of the best examples built by the Military Order of Calatrava in Jaén province, near the provincial border with Córdoba. Monday Morning Photo - Hacienda Zorita Wine Hotel, Spa and Organic Farm

 At the end of August we took a six hour drive north-west to Salamanca and the fabulous Hacienda Zorita. Once a monastery where Christopher Colombus stayed while trying to get backing for his travels.
