Monday Morning Photo - Plaza Mayor, Salamanca

One of the most beautiful squares in Spain the Plaza Mayor, a baroque style plaza, on the north side is the City Hall building. Decorated with stonework medallions between each arch, including depictions of  Carlos I, Alfonso XI, Fernando VI, Cervantes and Santa Teresa. Monday Morning Photo - Cordoba Patios Competition in Andalucia

I just fancied a bit of colour at this rather gloomy (yes, sometimes it's gloomy in Andalucia, Spain too) time of year. Remembering the rioting colours of the Cordoba patios and wondering whether to plan another visit into my calendar for next May.
