Monday Morning Photo - Arco de Villarla in Renaissance Baeza

Renaissance Baeza, a unesco city twinned with Úbeda, 7km away, was a recent visit and first overnight stay. It dates back from the Visigoths but what we see today is an abundance of fabulous sandstone monuments built from the riches gained from agriculture in the 16th century, like the former Civil Court and Notary, now a tourist office. Best Tapas in Seville

Just got home from a great day out in Sevilla. I love it, I´m a country girl at heart and don´t like crowds or cities but Sevilla was amazing and so flat after Jaén. All the photos I´d seen and images in my head didn´t do it justice - even in the rain.

I met up with Shawn Hennessey from Sevilla Tapas and we had great fun tapas testing, my favourites of the day follow.

This one was my favourite in the Restaurante La Juderia, baby hamburger with jamon Iberico and caramelised onions.

In Restaurante La Sal we tried black squid ink rice with cuttlefish, seaweed fritters, tuna tataky with braised cabbage and cured tuna ventresca on toast and the winner was....

The divine seaweed fritters, my favourite out of the four and my two best tapas in Sevilla today.
