Monday Morning Photo - Plaza Mayor, Salamanca

One of the most beautiful squares in Spain the Plaza Mayor, a baroque style plaza, on the north side is the City Hall building. Decorated with stonework medallions between each arch, including depictions of  Carlos I, Alfonso XI, Fernando VI, Cervantes and Santa Teresa. Monday Morning Photo - Medieval Bridge on Via Verde de Aceite, Jaen

Via Verde de Aceite or Olive Oil Greenway one of the many old train track routes throughout Spain that have been reconditioned for walkers and cyclists. This one took olive oil from the major growing area of Jaen towards the coast linking with other tracks or Vias Verdes.
