Monday Morning Photo - Plaza Mayor, Salamanca

One of the most beautiful squares in Spain the Plaza Mayor, a baroque style plaza, on the north side is the City Hall building. Decorated with stonework medallions between each arch, including depictions of  Carlos I, Alfonso XI, Fernando VI, Cervantes and Santa Teresa. The buildings are three storeys, supported by semicircular arches topped by a balustrade.  Plaza Mayor, Salamanca See my One Day in Salamanca - What Not to Miss post on Luxury Spain Travel. Monday Morning Photos - Weaving Shop, Workshop & Museum

On a recent blogtrip of Cazorla Natural Park we were taken to a weaving shop, workshop and museum. Located in gorgeous isolation on the PR-A 176 walking route the house surrounded by pine trees and silence contains exquisite woven shawls, blankets, foulards, rugs, baby boots etc.

From thick floor mats, a large order from a hotel to fine silk scarves all beautiful and unique.

Thanks to Jaen Tourist Board for the experience. For more information on A & F Tejedores see their Facebook page.
