Monday Morning Photo - Plaza Mayor, Salamanca

One of the most beautiful squares in Spain the Plaza Mayor, a baroque style plaza, on the north side is the City Hall building. Decorated with stonework medallions between each arch, including depictions of  Carlos I, Alfonso XI, Fernando VI, Cervantes and Santa Teresa. Monday Morning Photo - Zahara de la Sierra a Lovely Spanish Town

During a recent heatwave as if summer's in Andalucia aren't hot enough hubby and I were away visiting the gorgeous Hacienda El Santiscal on the edge of Arcos de la Frontera in Cadiz province and doing a reccy of the area including the lovely little mountain town of Zahara de la Sierra.
